.      1. You need to have firstly a dream to create vision backed up by passion, high determination and never die attitude to achieve your goals

Dream – My Child shall be an international wrestler

Vision – India shall get Gold in International wrestling

Passion – Wrestling

High Determination – “Mhari Chori ke choro se kam hai key?” My daughter is no less than the boys

Never die attitude – All the obstacles i.e. social, physical, mental, cultural were addressed with clear focus

2.   2.    “When your goals are focused, what you can’t see is obstacles” – Where there is difficulty, there is opportunity

Wrestling was a sports played by boys & male in India especially in state of Haryana. It invited social challenges, practice challenges but, equally it came out as opportunity to become state level champion.

3.    3.   Stay Hungry, Stay foolish

Amir khan (Mahavir singh) left his job at the time when he most needed the job to feed and support his family and dreams. But, the high determination and self confidence made him to take such a bold decision in unfavorable conditions

4.  4.   Identification of Talent

Not all are lucky enough to get a difficulty & opportunity at the same time and support and nurturing of talent.

Phogat Girls had a fight with some boys (difficulty) and the parents of the boys came to complaint to girl’s father (difficulty). Amir Khan (Mahavir singh) checked the injuries of the boys and could identify the Inborn Talent (High Kinesthetic) towards wrestling sports in own child. And, than beginning…

But, there are many who do not get Experts (Mahavir singh) in their life to identify natural talent. So, when an expert identifies inborn talent, believe in it and follow it. Either, you work with uniqueness or follow the leaders in business.

Note: DMIT is an unique tool to identify natural talent among children, so no child need to wait till the age his talent is identified by an expert. Early identification of natural talent and nurturing the talent ensures high level of success in individual’s life.

5.     5.  Learn from errors & mistakes, improve them to perfection. Until one identifies and accepts self mistakes and does improvement in right direction, it won’t give desired success, or it will give limited success.

Over confidence and mistakes in Game (practice, habits) which lead to continual defeats (loss). Gita Phogat kept on loosing the game after game until she realized that she needs improvement in  her game.

6.      6. There are different people on ground; a winning player, a competitive player, a Coach, a Referee and spectators. You have to decide what you want to be.

Winning Player – Geeta Phogat

Competitive Player – Cusin Brother (Narrator) and all those who had a fight with winning player

Coach – Amir Khan (Mahavir Singh)

Referee – keep on changing, as the game changes

Spectators – Give round of applause, Criticism for losing side and Cheering the winning player

Despite getting the equal opportunity to become a wrestler, the cousin brother can’t succeed in the game.

Even world’s best coach / support can’t give you right success unless you have a burning desire for it.

7.  7.   My Way Vs Your Way or Sky Way

For professional wrestling practice the required infrastructures were not available and there was no extended support from available resources. But, the Indian Jugad system & burning desire to give a competent training gave a direction of sky way of utilizing the available resources of Mattresses & quality training with available resources.

Quite often employees’ keeps on complaining about organization culture, growth and system but the winners & focused people don’t complaint instead they find way with available resources and make their way to success.

8.    8.  Do Not stop yourself, success is Gold on Global level

Many sports person gets a government job and get settles in their lives after a particular level. But, the real ones dream further to fulfill them.

Mahavir Singh could see his dreams getting fulfilled with his daughters. Gita Phogat, was somewhere on content level after being a national player. But, soon she realized being a National Player she could survive for couple of years but being International Gold winner she can create history.

Many of hard working professionals do not grow further in life after reaching middle level position. And, that’s the point when downfall of an department / division or company begins and which could be experienced by organization in couple of years.
